I appreciate you taking the time to share this review. I’m glad you enjoy working closely with your fellow associates, and you find value in our PTO program. I acknowledge that claims loads can fluctuate, which is why we regularly review them to help ensure our representatives have the time and resources they need to manage our customers’ claims while experiencing a positive work/life balance. I’m a strong believer in professional development, and in the claims team we have many opportunities to grow. In fact, most of our promotional opportunities are filled by internal candidates. I encourage you to discuss your workload concerns—along with career advancement opportunities—with your manager. Thank you again for providing your feedback. Michele Dufresne – Chief Claims Officer

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at Sentry. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your time here, and that we were able to support a smooth transition from college to a professional setting. That’s among our top priorities at our IT co-ops in Stevens Point and Madison. And we definitely recognize that insurance industry terminology can get pretty complex, which is one reason we offer a range of educational courses for associates through our SentryU online portal. Thank you again for submitting this review. Jim Frank – Chief Information Officer

Pros

Friendly relationship with other employees generally. Benefits were middle of the road. Remote work was flexible.

Cons

Management very narrow focused and lacks understanding or empathy. Unnecessary tasks making it already heavy workload difficult. Little opportunity for advancement.
