Pros

The coworkers were wonderful, and the benefits were okay. They may offer a settlement in return for a release when you leave the company.

Cons

This company has been short staffed since they purchased Viking Insurance, years ago. Micromanagement is everywhere. How many phone calls are made out and answered are documented each day. There are reports on everything, and emails sent daily on how terrible a job everyone is doing. Most people work at least 50, if not 60 hours a week. It is impossible to get the job done in 40 hours. Supervisors are constantly in files requiring more work to be done. Turnover is rampant, with over 25% off people having leftover this year! Management has little sympathy and the claims just keep coming in. Human resources is unprofessional and is not to be trusted.

Pros

The people there were the best part. When I left, that is what I missed most.

Cons

This position was tough because to company refused to hire enough claims personal. It was also tough because the company was in Wisconsin and the culture did not mesh well.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you enjoy your co-workers because we put a high priority on attracting, hiring, and retaining great people. Many of our associates also value the onsite gym and we’re proud to be able to offer this resource. We continue to work to keep our compensation levels and benefits package competitive.
