The work life balance is good. Work isn't too stressful. Everyone is polite.

Cons

Using obsolete technology. Bad career prospects after. Compensation is only ok. Very old fashioned way of doing things

- good benefits - great HR

Cons

- management is completely incompetent and upper management is completely oblivious to this somehow - technology is moving backwards in time. HQ uses technologies from the 80s and brags about it - for some reason (even though HQ is in the middle of nowhere and they cant seem to hire anyone with any relevant experience) they are letting good people walk out the door and promoting people that add no value to the organization - young managers/directors with no real world experience are running the show, I wouldn't bet on the long term success of the organization (which is already on the decline with its personal lines division closing down)

Great place to work a lot and see a vendor product implemented and work go off to a consulting firm (some of it was off shore).

Cons

Off shore work seems to beginning here
