      Pros

      The people/associates are excellent. Hard working and committed to the community.

      Cons

      Politics, senior management, downsizing and extreme lack of diversity. Benefits are very poor.

      Pros

      The company does great things for the community. There are a high percentage of good people working for the company. Good working conditions especially the Stevens Point home office. If you are looking for a career in politics you will have ample opportunity.

      Cons

      Some IT areas, like the digital content management area, replace leadership and coaching with politics and dictatorship. If you are a business analyst or project manager you are at the mercy of the developers. The environment is highly political, everyone is CTA. IT is financed through internal payment from the business nitches, this payment method is counterproductive. This method is ancient; it has been proven over the many years to cause internal separation instead of a collaborative environment.

      Customer service - auto insurance. Great benefits, uninspiring work

      Pros

      benefits are great. 18 days paid time off your first full year, 6% match on 401K. Able to change positions within the company somewhat easily. decent pay for the work.

      Cons

      cubicle land. performance is reviewed based on quantitative measures that are not very relevant. Very conservative company that does not listen to suggestions from its employees. Morale tends to be fairly low.
