Sequoia is the worst place to work

Cons

Get ready to sink or swim and feel unappreciated all at the same time. You will thrive at this company if you're good at pushing work onto other people. Hard work is not rewarded. It's all about personality and being able to brown nose management. I wonder how many of these 5star glassdoor from Sequoia are real analysis of this company. During the hiring process, they aggressively tell you to add a positive review. There's a reason all the review for Sequoia sounds generic.

I would just like to give a huge shout out to Ariana from the recruiting team and both teams from Petaluma and San Francisco. I have been with this company for 2+ years now and have had nothing but the best experiences. They expedited my interview/hiring process once I learned I needed to switch properties. Their communication and willingness to help out their employees does not go unnoticed. I plan on investing my time here with Sequoia Equities as long as I can. They have great benefits, great job perks, and they aim to make you feel like family at all times. I highly recommend Sequoia Equities for anyone who is trying to grow within as well as grow with a company. A very open minded and accepting community. Thank You Sequoia Equities!

Cons

The only con I say would be for the almost last minute change of positions. But I am sure that it was a once and a blue moon in my case. Nonetheless, still a great company to invest in, since they will invest in you back!
