Some good practitioners who are intelligent and hard working. Thrown in the fire quickly which helps you develop and then hone your skills.

Cons

Not transparent, highly political. I think this accurately sums up the firm's cons. Can be significantly better.

Pros

Very stable law firm, for the most part very friendly atmosphere to work in, increasingly amenable to work from home schedules

Cons

Not very transparent, increasingly silo'd - very little communication about current and future expectations. Certain members of leadership are allowed to run "rough shot" over staff. Increasingly wary of the direction the firm is taking and leadership is very uncommunicative about it.

Pros

The building is probably the only nice attribute. Of course this cost is passed on to clients.

Cons

Everyone is terrible. Egotistical yet inexperienced attorneys working in a very negative and hostile racist, sexist and homophobic environment. No one cares about teamwork or clients. The bottom line and making partner is all that matters. If you are not that smart but enjoy stabbing people in the back, this is the perfect environment for you. Just imagine how they bill, treat and talk about their "ignorant" clients.
