Pros

In my years of experience at Shape I have received very fair compensation and have been given plenty of opportunity to grow within the company. We are the kind of company that will recognize those who go above and beyond on a daily basis and compensate accordingly. I have always been treated fairly and with respect from all levels of management. We have great benefits and very affordable insurance. Basically, you generally get back what you put in. Hard work is recongized and rewarded.

Pros

Good Healthcare - good tuition reimbursement.

Cons

High Stress environment. Very poor middle management - lack of trust in production plant between employees and plant management. Lack of pride in plant appearance and work quality due to management disengagement and skewed directives. Significant lack of focus on product quality and at times employee safety - primary focus is on making trucks for delivery.

Pros

shape does a pretty good job with making sure its employees get at least forty hours of work a week. when its slow in the business they also try to keep people and lay people off only as a last resort.

Cons

it's hot in tge summer time, management does not take suggestions from the employees who work the floor. there are a lot of decisions made at the last minute.
