Pros

Good salary and benefits. Work from home is a plus.

Cons

This organization is highly top-heavy, with a strong emphasis on promoting a specific model of care—often at the expense of truly listening to employee feedback or focusing on effective implementation. While the vision may be well-intentioned, the execution is lacking, and frontline staff are often left without the necessary structure or support. Management tends to take a punitive approach rather than a collaborative one. There's a noticeable focus on pointing out mistakes, while good work often goes unacknowledged. The work environment is marked by micromanagement, inconsistent communication, and a lack of clear protocols or guidelines, which leads to confusion and inefficiencies. New hires are frequently left to figure things out with little guidance, contributing to a high turnover rate. With so many departures and constant staff changes, the organization often ends up in a situation where those with limited experience are tasked with training others—creating a cycle that’s difficult to break.

Pros

I actually really liked this job, did it for nearly a decade. Started in office but later went fully remote which was really nice. Productivity goals were realistic and they had a good system in place for recording system issues that lowered our numbers.

Cons

The worst con is that this company has had a LOT of layoffs over the last few years. I was told repeatedly that my job was not at risk until suddenly my position was eliminated in restructuring. Another big con was that our benefits slowly dwindled over the years. PTO stopped rolling over year to year. You had to jump through more and more hoops to get matching HSA contributions. Yearly raises got smaller and smaller. The last con was that management had a high turnover. I was fortunate that I never got a micromanager or an inflexible manager, but the constant change in management degraded relationships with clients over time and eventually led to client losses.

Pros

Work life balance was the best thing about this job you would have times. If you had a good manager your time here was probably better than most.

Cons

The Benefits and Pay are the biggest cons for me. I had my pay cut and I already wasn’t getting paid that much. The culture wasn’t the best.
