Pros

Convenient location and good work core work hours of 9-5 allow for excellent work/life balance - depending on department you work for. People in my department are great to work with. Very team oriented. Effort put in to do a good job is appreciated by management. Many departments try to promote qualified internal employees when opportunities arise.Company benefits are reasonably priced and overall it is a good benefits package. On site subsidized cafeteria is decent and convenient.

Cons

No work from home policy or flexible hours.

Pros

Great benefits; new leadership over the last couple of years making positive changes; evolving technology products; hard working people; renewed emphasis on recognition of employees and giving back to community; days fly by quickly; many talented professional working here; company has had its challenges in the past but I have seen lots of evolution in company over the last few years.

Cons

Sharp has to consider implementing at least some type(s) of flexible benefits (job sharing, flexible hours, compressed work week, telecommuting, summer hours, etc.) to remain competitive and to attract and retain the current generation of working professionals.Company needs more comprehensive training programs; The training programs offered are limited and not in line with the needs and desires of the population.

Pros

I worked in Finance and the technology and tools were top notch

Cons

Management is very old school culture in a condescending way. Favoritism plays a big part in your career path and the Finance area was way overstaffed.
