      Pros

      Competitive pay for area. Good managers. Good benefits.

      Cons

      Like any real world corporation they need you for the hours you are hired. If you are late or out so many times they will write you up, but that was no a problem for me. The biggest down side was no sick time. If you/child are sick you had to use vacation days or accrue an occurrence (point)

      Pros

      The pay at Shaw Industries is pretty decent to not have to have a college degree.They offer a really good benefits package with life insurance, medical,dental, and 401k retirement plan.

      Cons

      You have to fight your way to the breakroom to get a break.You work a steady twelve hour shift with barely getting to sit down for a minute to take a break (if your lucky). The vacation hours are not paid vacation its just time that doesnt count against you without pay.

      good pay and benefits in a bad economy

      Cons

      everyone is job scared and let too much go on that shouldn't happen. They won't listen to their employees and expect you to do impossible tasks. You can only do quality work if given enough time and help to accomplish the job. Too many employees slacking and refusing to do their job but management won't listen.
