Strong executive leadership An outstanding culture that inculcates inclusion Provides that small company feel despite being a large, successful company Treats employees like professionals Respects/encourages work-life balance

Cons

Unfortunately the changing culture that makes Shaw great can be slow to reach individual departments. While my overall experience has been great, the first few years were a struggle, due to a restrictive environment rampant with micromanaging. This, from my experience, isn't the norm, but rather is a sporadic occurrence existing in only certain departments.

Large debt free company. Great training opportunities.

Cons

Slow to make changes and improvements. Generally, success is predetermined by who you know and churches you attend - a lot of 'good old boy' network in place.

The best thing about D5 plant is the days off.

Cons

Because of D5 diverse environment the organization take full advantage of individuals. Meaning low pay and position are formed around foreigners with little or no education. Unless you're from another country this is not a good facility. I could continue with examples, but my final words, JUST SIMPLY HORRIBLE WORSE JOB EVER.
