Company going down hill

Pros

Decent pay, good bonus for store management, opportunity for advancement if you are ambitious to move up in the ranks.

Cons

Overworked, sales and labor budgets unrealistic, a lot of long term dead weight through the ranks making more then some assistant store managers and doing little work. Work on average 70 hours a week and salaried, not enough time to get everything done which corporate asks. They tell you to spend more time on the sales floor then push more and more mandatory paper work on you... Lately, no autonomy at store level, you pay us to manage, but only want monkeys.

Pros

Really pleasant atmosphere when managers were not around. With management around, things were horrible.

Cons

Manager hated me because I was related to a person she used to be friends with, although I had no association to the person. They told me I would have a job during my time off from college, but when the time came, they did not have a place for me.
