Pros

They offered consistent number of hours per week. They will try to give you the hours you want if you are willing. People you directly worked with, I worked with a good crew.

Cons

Scheduling varies. Executive management could be condescending. The pay difference between full time and part time employees for the same workloads.

Pros

The company is very accommodating with students and their varying schedules. It is a steady job with decent benefits.

Cons

It has been a downhill since Supervalu took over Shaw's. There is very little done by the company to motivate employees. There is a lot of micromanaging, which makes it difficult for employees to perform successfully, especially when labor hours are constantly cut. Many employee benefits were cut down or cut out all together. The company's values also seem to have shifted from outstanding customer service to merely making a profit.
