great people, good benefits, helpful, exciting, opportunities, success, have a lot of fun working here, treated with respect, very happy here overall

not many cons, i guess all i can say is it's retail so that can be stressful at times but other than that none

Pros

flexible hours, good co workers, good full time pay, lots of locations to work, they have lots of different opportunities within each store to work in different depts and learn about the whole operation.

Cons

Layoffs, associates working in depts they are not trained for, ability means nothing to the company, no chance for advancement anymore, more layoffs to come just makes for bad morale and not a fun work enviorment which reflects in customer service and productivity.

Shaws has a great vacation time and paid time off,especially if you have length in service.after so many years of service you acrew so many hours a week its called TOPPS time off with pay program

Cons

The company's benefit package isn't exactly the best,sometimes when you have a larger company,the health benefits are not as good.
