-I answer phones all day and cannot have water with me.
-One person does carriages for their entire shift. Six hours in 100 degree heat or 20 degree cold is not cool.
-You go to CUSTOMER SERVICE and wait in line for ten minutes because there is one clerk working.
-I actually started refusing to come in early or stay late because nobody knows how to say thank you, never mind give out those coveted 5.00 cards
-I laughed reading the reviews that said it was easy to get time off... ha! Not in my store. I requested to be out by four because I needed to be somewhere a considerable distance away and was told to bring a change of clothes to work because I was needed until five.
-I was also told I couldn't have any more saturdays off... yet I closed every saturday night for a year straight, and there are numerous people in my store who aren't even available on saturday. Wasn't aware working in retail meant I had to give up seeing my family.
-Price cuts... ha! The tags I put up that say "every day low price" have the same price on them as the previous tags.
-One cashier working most weekdays until 10am.
-Managers who refuse to go on register or help on the customer service window. The priority, I thought, was the customer, not making the schedule.
-I never get a break. Asking for one is like pulling teeth. Sorry I inconvenienced you by wanting a bite to eat and to use the bathroom for 15 minutes.
-Store policies enforced at random. I refuse a customer refund for management to come over and not only refund their clearly expired product, but give them a customer appeasement for their troubles. IF management comes over, most times I get a phone call and a curt "give them whatever they want".
