Shawmut is a great place to work. The employees are treated real well and get recognition for a job well done. There are many strong managers who really care about growing their teams.

Cons

No education tuition reimbursement. Can be a political place to work at times.

Pros

Not only is Shawmut a respectable name in the industry and is great to be associated with, but the people and culture are what make every day enjoyable. Benefits are very generous. Perks are consistent enough to keep everyone happy. Training through lunch and learns and other methods give a great feeling of the high value they put on personal growth.

Cons

At times, long hours can be required to make a deadline. Sometimes delayed actions can lead to a "crunch time" scenario. I feel that better communication between departments would improve overall workflow.
