      Pros

      High level of team work and engagement from co-workers & supervisors; working with clients is very rewarding; lots of autonomy/flexibility in job positions & duties; many opportunities for growth and promotion in the agency; benefits and paid time off are excellent; tuition assistance; qualifying student loan forgiveness

      Cons

      Hourly pay is low compared to how hard staff works (similar problem with any non-profit); there is not enough time in the day to complete all work required, despite good time management; clients' illnesses can be challenging

      Pros

      I like working in the Nursing Dept. My co-workers are really nice and helpful and my supervisor has been really cool...super supportive & jumps in to help out when needed.

      Cons

      All departments are short staffed. Nursing pay isn't bad but I've heard direct care staff don't get paid well which is unfortunate bc they put up with the most crap.

      Pros

      Able to gain perspective on dysfunctional health care.

      Cons

      Very limited respect towards staff. Often very physically unsafe working conditions. Management uses manipulation tactics and threats to persuade staff into unsafe positions. Health benefits are unacceptable.
