      Pros

      Awesome culture where everyone is a team across the company. Accelerated career growth opportunities, with the chance to work with very talented individuals on unique products the company is at the forefront of. Above average compensation packages for hardware engineers.

      Cons

      Can be high pressure at times, but often results in positive experience for the individual. Some long hours, but nothing extreme.

      Innovative work leading in AI Unique combination of hardware systems Solving real problems for people in need Strong compensation and equity sharing

      Cons

      The aspirations of Shield are ambitious. Nobody has done what we attempt to do before because it is hard. Being successful requires hard work. Most people that are unhappy at Shield refuse to do more than the bare minimum, won't put in extra effort to help struggling teammates, and generally view working at Shield like any other typical 9-5 job. Nothing about Shield is typical. It is an amazing group of talented, selfless, hard working people that want to help those around them succeed.
