      Pros

      If you are not part of production, you are golden. They have turned production into a place for low skill workers, and they pay them as such. I started when production had higher requirements, and I received higher pay. Essentially I was grandfathered in. I have since left, but I doubt that my situation will be the case for anyone newer.

      Cons

      I doubt you can get paid well in production anymore. They really dumbed down the work that was required for production to the point that anyone off the street could do it. Ultimately I left for greater opportunities since they also tend to look down on member of production, and refuse to promote from production.

      Working at Shield AI gives you the opportunity to collaborate with some of the smartest, innovative and hard-working professionals in the defense-tech industry and contribute to the important mission of saving civilian and military members’ lives.

      Cons

      Not a con, but Shield AI is not the place for those looking for a 9-5. Everyone works hard, is willing to help each other out and go the extra mile to get the job done.

      Pros

      Working on some really exciting, bleeding-edge technical solutions with some of the smartest people in the industry. Pay is good, equity is good.

      Cons

      Employees are encouraged to constantly put in overtime, and burnout among the ranks of engineers, upper, and middle management is very real, and a self-perpetuating problem.
