Pros

It was full-time and had benefits

Cons

overworked, short lunches with no where to sit, supervisors/management didn't care for associates, following robots like looking for a lost dog, dangerous because robots ran into you every second, sore feet after walking back and forth around the warehouse for 10 hrs chasing robots.

Pros

ShipMonk is a fast paced environment that rewards super stars. The people that work there usually still catch beers with one another after work. It's for that reason they often call it 'The ShipMonk Family'. Employees get to de-stress with fur friends running around the office (dog friendly office) that help provide a few laughs here and there. The work ShipMonk does is cutting edge for the industry so when you complete work, it is very rewarding and recognized (peep all the rewards ShipMonk has won). Over all, if you are a go getter, love to accomplish goals that people often deem as impossible, and be surrounded by good dog loving people, this is the place for you. Work hard, play hard.

Cons

With being a fast paced startup that is growing at a crazy rate, ShipMonk might not be the best fit for people that do not want to follow the ShipMonk model of 'getting sh*t done' and learning quickly. ShipMonk pushes its people to find the answers they need and does not provide a lot of handholding. That said, that should be a HUGE plus for people that are self sufficient and like a laissez faire approach. However, it can be a challenge for folks that want a more involved model and have less ambition in the sense they want answers given to them verbatim. This is a career, not a punch in, punch out kind of business. As long as you have the drive to succeed, are not afraid of being pushed to your full capabilities, and live for the excitement of overcoming challenges, this is the place for you.

Pros

The training was great, the CEO seems to be on to something, but below him, they don't know how to convey his vision.

Cons

Beyond training, the culture is toxic, the leader of the department is a bully. Change your culture if you want your salespeople to love your product and sell it. Stop beating down your team.
