      Pros

      Beautiful facility with many hard working staff that are there to provide the best outcomes for patients.

      Cons

      Upper management conducts themselves like a sorority. If you are not in with the crowd you will not advance. Most upper management has only worked at Shirley Ryan/RIC their entire career. Long hours with poor compensation.

      Pros

      Excellent learning opportunities including employee mentoring, academic programming, discipline-specific CEUs, research participation, growth rotations. The new building and its resources are beautiful and unparalleled.

      Cons

      Therapists have a limited shelf life here due to low pay plus punishing productivity expectations (administrative time leaves one having to make up additional treatment units to stay productive). Overachieving workplace culture and redundant documentation system leads to 1-2 additional hours tacked on to the work day. Annual raises are meager and our bonus system was just scrapped indefinitely.
