Pros

Excellent learning opportunities including employee mentoring, academic programming, discipline-specific CEUs, research participation, growth rotations. The new building and its resources are beautiful and unparalleled.

Cons

Therapists have a limited shelf life here due to low pay plus punishing productivity expectations (administrative time leaves one having to make up additional treatment units to stay productive). Overachieving workplace culture and redundant documentation system leads to 1-2 additional hours tacked on to the work day. Annual raises are meager and our bonus system was just scrapped indefinitely.

Pros

I've enjoyed working with some of my coworkers.

Cons

CEO is a micro-manager and only hires people that will agree with her on everything. If you don't agree with her, you will most likely get fired. I've been in meetings where the CEO has said many people on our team are basically worthless, all while our departments management is just smiling and nodding like puppets.

Pros

Easy interview, HR communicates quickly

Cons

Do not start here as a new grad. The orientation is not structured at all. At first company seems supportive but if employees and management decide not to like you during orientation they will get together to make up lies and fire you. The preceptors are only looking out for themselves and not you thriving as a nurse and learning. They will fire you off of lies and give you zero explanation other than “you’re not a good fit here.” My job was posted weeks before they “decided I was not a good fit” Start somewhere else if you can there is zero support here for new grads especially on the pediatric unit. I regret turning down previous job offers to start here.
