Pros

Shure is a great company that is very loyal to its employees. Most people there work to live, so it's not hard to balance a busy life. There are a lot of smart people working on neat products. You get the chance to work on products seen and heard by millions of people.

Cons

The company culture is very conservative and slow moving, so they tend to follow competitors in many areas. Because the brand is popular, they can pay people slightly below average. The upper level executives seem out of touch with the engineers, even though they are excited about the products. Promotions happen fairly slowly unless you have a close connection to someone higher up the chain.
