Change -Change-Change

Business Outlook

Pros

Change may lead to career opportunities as leadership understands past challenges must be addressed quickly and decisively as the status quo will not get the job done

Cons

Constant change in strategy/direction in the past few years leaves a short runway for success and the price (reductions in work force/closed facilities/wage freezes, wage reductions, merit increase and bonus eliminations) have occurred and remain high potential outcomes in the future.

Solid "B" company to work for

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

-no jerk policy -low ego, particularly within engineering -decent technical acumen, generally forward thinking but not cutting edge -reasonable focus on a core set of priorities -great to see a bit more diversity (new female CEO) at the e-staff level

Cons

-lower pay, expect to make 45-50% less than what you'd make at a FAANG company (which is top of the market) -decision making used to be a top down "old boys" network, though improving. diversity at the (exec) leadership level is still pretty low. -low opportunities for growth
