Pros

Great products and plenty of smart people there.

Cons

No clear path for promotion or advancement. Can be political, and this affects people's promotions. Some managers are good, others are terrible. They don't really do anything about the bad ones, and don't really reward the good ones. Lack of vision or strategy causes frequent fire drills.

Pros

Really collaborative environment, decent pay, good managers

Cons

Shutterfly is owned by Apollo Global Management and they do NOT care about its employees. I have been employed for 20+ years and in the past 4 years they have reduced on shore staff (the people with all the business knowledge and experience) by at least half (probably more, but I do not have the metrics) and moved any job they can to Indian contractors. It's business I know, but it's not a very well thought out plan. I expect them to sell off their brands within the next 5-10 years if that.
