Pros

Can't think of anything positive! That should be alarming.

Cons

No transparency, no value for hard work, no future

Shutterfly is not where it once was

Pros

It's always the people. Some of the best people I've had a chance to work with. Ability to work remotely and from home. Leader in the photo industry

Cons

Upper Management and eStaff are disconnected from what is happening. The equity firm Apollo appears to be making all the decisions to drive revenue, not Shutterfly. 3rd year in a row of company layoffs and job cuts.

Pros

Friendly co-workers, easy-to-follow online training, supportive, flexible, decent pay

Cons

an unnecessary grading system for photos, having to find a cover for your on-call shift when that is the manager's job, underpaid photographers, and not many freedoms for photographers or customers to choose from with posing and backgrounds, pushes walk-in appointments too aggressively
