      Pros

      Siemens is a great place to work. It is a huge company, with excelent growth opportunities, specially for young people. The company invests in training and development of its workforces and has consisten human resources policies.

      Cons

      Managerial behavior is very heterogeneous. Failure of a manager in following the company's human resources policies and even abusive behavior are often overlooked. Internal politics are very, very strong.

      Pros

      Interesting product groups with engaging senior leaders Compensation is pretty good but not exceptional Reward top talent well, have begun to put an emphasis on recruiting newer, smarter grads

      Cons

      Large hierarchy, hard to move up the rankings due to very structured system; upper management can be distant from the normal employee Some parts of the company lacking the excitement factor, a lot of older employees who seem part of the system

      Pros

      It's great because you develop a holistic understanding of how the technology sector works and you become a really good program tester and debugger which comes in handy while applying for other software engineering positions at firms.

      Cons

      The work can feel a little menial at times and there's not much to do around there in the city.
