      Pros

      The only positive working for this company is the discounts you can get on jewelry, and working with some amazing co-workers

      Cons

      LOW pay, hard to moving up with company, company does not care about their employees, they don't give enough hours, and are very quick to demote or fire based off of impossible sales goals. You have goals everyday, which creates a horrible competitive atmosphere at work. It is by far the worst, low paying commission based job you can get.

      Hourly pay, commission and bonuses.

      Cons

      As of early 2014 the Zales Corporation was bought out by Signet Jewelers. Promises of better pay and benefits were promised but never delivered. Employees are now given the workload of two employees yet raises were and will NEVER be given. Our job security is threatened everyday. Harassment from regional/district management is constant and unnecessary. Robotic work habits and "scripts" are now enforced. TONS of unnecessary paperwork is expected. YOU WILL NEVER BE SEEN AS A PERSON BUT AS A NUMBER. YOU CAN BE REPLACED AND THE CORPORATION IS NOT SHY OF MAKING THAT CLEAR EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK.

      Being able to leave is the most fulfilling thing you'll accomplish from this company over time. You'll wonder why on earth you stayed as long as you did..

      Cons

      Poor choices of people put into positions they really know nothing about, lack of instruction or train. Huge rallys held for diversity are uselss.
