Pros

Being a sales associate does have its pros the pay is pretty good don't just settle for what they offer at the interview if you aren't comfortable especially if you have sale expierance. You get comission once a month and as long as the dtor made its quota plus some it really pays off. I like bonding with my customers you become their jeweler and part of their family. If you are in magangement you get to travel and the best perk of all is the dicount. They offer a gemologist and diamondologist program which is great if you want to advance your career.

Cons

The job is very demanding with their schedule. You work long hours, you have the stress of making you sale quota, you don't have a work life balance, The relationship between your district manager and yourself is very interpersonal. There really isn't a lot of room for career advancement but you are given the knowledge for it.

Pros

The pay is decent to begin with, and you can make OK bonuses around holidays, but that's where the pros end.

Cons

The jewelry here is cooke cutter jewelry, it's cheap and it's hard to sell. Anyone who KNOWS jewelry knows this is not "high end" jewelry. Ever since gold shot up, a lot of it is now set in silver. Their high end line is Levian and though that IS high end, it's lower high end in other top notch designer jewelry stores. The atmosphere is back stabbing and management does nothing to rectify this, rather they encourage it. I felt like I was being coached to lie to the customer, which is not in my demeanor, so I didn't stick around. Decent place to learn the basics, but I doubt anyone would want to work here long term.

Pros

Co-workers within the division. Immediate supervisors.

Cons

No opportunity for growth. Company does not promote from within as it claims.
