A lot of good people who care about the company, good pay

Cons

Horrible senior management style...CEO and CFO hold all the power and treat everyone else including other VP- and C-level execs like minions. It's their way or the highway. They create a toxic work environment by berating people in front of co-workers and making them feel inferior rather than having thoughtful conversations about performance and growth. And, HR manages to their expectations rather than stopping this unprofessional behavior in order to survive the toxic environment. Worst experience of my career.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Signiant. Great fast paced innovative company with lots of room to grow. excellent staff, located in a convenient area of Kanata with lots around. Very positive culture and a place that truly values their employees.

Interesting market and customer base (Media & Entertainment) Leading-edge cloud technology (AWS/Azure/Containers) Great people and team CEO and CTO are the very definition of 'leader' Laid back work environment and culture Lots of encouragement for learning (conferences, meetups, etc.) Practices a somewhat devops approach to engineering

Cons

Work-life balance for some teams is a problem Benefits don't quite align with current standard in the Ottawa area for mid-size organizations Feels like continual repackaging of the same technology; more innovation needed * Other than work-life balance, these are not huge issues. I would highly recommend Signiant as a great place to work
