Unsustainable

Pros

PTO (5 weeks vacation) Competitive 401K match Fully remote The tax side of the company seems like they have a healthy culture and they seem very capable

Cons

The work culture, specifically on the tech MSP side of things, is completely unsustainable. We were told for over a year that a formalized change management procedure would be implemented and it never was. The project side of tech would regularly make changes in production without notifying the support/break-fix side in advance, creating unnecessary work and headaches. On top of that, there is very little accountability. They have data but do not seem to use it to make any decisions. Repeat tickets for the same type of issue were the norm instead of the exception. The manager would brag about how few days off he took during the year. Everyone was constantly stressed out. At one point, each of the 5 Level 2 technicians on the break-fix team had over 100 tickets in each of their individual queues. It seems like there are too many managers, creating a lot of management overhead. Also, the minimum requirement was to work 45 hour weeks (which calculated out for the year, pays for the 5 weeks of PTO given).

Thank you for taking the time to comment. We often receive positive feedback about our flexibility, benefits and offerings, and we’re glad you agree. It’s not uncommon for workload to ebb and flow and our teams work closely with each other to maintain as much stability as possible for our people. In the onboarding process, our HR team works diligently to provide in-depth role descriptions, including workload expectations. Thank you, again, for your input and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
