Pros

Positive environment and supportive coworkers. Most of the Principals are great.

Cons

Little cohesion between pillars. I was laid off even though there were backlogs on similar departments even though I had excellent appraisals.

Trying to act like one of the big boys

Pros

There used to be some positives before the private equity investment but nothing positive after that. Great place if you are not interested in actual work but can play office politics or push blame on others.

Cons

Sikich is a small player that is trying to put on the big boy pants without actually growing up. If you work for the big boys at least you are compensated properly, have exit opportunities, etc. none of that exists here. The quality of people they can attract or hire is really low but then are expected to either turn low quality workers into superstars or pick up their slack. I would strongly advise staying as far away from this mess of an organization as possible.
