Pros

Most colleagues I met are kind and helpful throughout my training.

Cons

The training started well in the beginning, until I no longer had a mentor after the 3 week mark. However, training lasts for 3 months and I never heard of a company not incorporating mentorship throughout the entirety of an extensive training program such as this—that’s a problem. Feedback was given about it and nothing changed. When they give you feedback, it’s expect for you to change immediately. The company stands on “radical condor” when it comes to you, but some leads in Education & QA can’t handle radical candor when trainees give feedback about their training practices, specifically for Product Specialists.

Pros

Great product, great mission. You feel good about what you're making. High standards for hiring, so everyone who ends up working here is really smart and talented. Very diverse team. No sign of any tech bro macho stuff. Excellent benefits.

Cons

We went about 80 employees pre-covid to about 200 now, and our customer base and product scope have all grown exponentially, too. So we became an entirely different company during the period of working remotely, and it's put a stress on things, but you could say that for any tech company in the pandemic. Overall, we're solid, but there's an element of uncertainty. We don't know how it will be once we return to the office. Overall, we're facing the same challenges as any company when they become successful: how do you mature from a scrappy start-up to a big company?
