Pros

-I came to SimplePractice when it was a bit after it's "startup" phase but I can share that the people are great, culture is awesome, and the product is always improving. -Management does actually listen (eNPS, candid feedback accepted in company wide meetings, etc). I do believe that they care. -TC is solid for a CS role -easy to transition between teams if you are interested in doing something

Cons

-This past quarter we rolled out a pricing update for our subscription fee which I can only describe as an unmitigated flop. Very poor execution of communication to our customers, and the structuring left a lot to be desired as to the "why" behind certain changes. I don't really care in the grand scheme of things because price increases are an inevitable part of business, but it caused a lot of (in my opinion) undue stress among the team members that actually interact with our customers. -Not a lot of opportunities to grow between entry-level and upper-management

Pros

-decent compensation packages. -flexible work locations, but specific to certain departments. -meaningful and rewarding work. People aren’t here for just a paycheck and really do want to make a difference for practitioners. -everyone I’ve met at the company so far is passionate, smart, kind, and forward-thinking. -a diverse company — from the onboarding team to my assigned team. -Management seems invested in their employees’ growth and longevity at the company.

Cons

-while a diverse company, their leadership team tells a different story. -their company culture is amazing, but worry that might change with the new CEO. -no process in place for recurring performance reviews.

Pros

SimplePractice is a great place to be if you're looking to grow. You can find your niche and as long as you work hard, deliver value, and are a team-player, you'll see the fruits of your labor. It's a fast-paced work environment and constantly evolving, but the team and leadership is supportive, innovative, and always open to feedback.

Cons

This can be seen as a pro as well, but upward mobility and career development is flexible and open-ended. There isn't a set path for employees to follow. You need to take it upon yourself to keep growing in your career here.
