Pros

I worked with some great Consultants, but most of them left the company.

Cons

The CEO preaches “stewardship” as a company value. The CEO slashed pay after selling the company for $200+ Million.

Throughout the pandemic and economic downturn we have provided our employees will full transparency, visibility and logic behind all of our decision. Instead of slashing dozens of people's jobs across the organization, we decided to cut all salaries by an equal amount among employees and larger amount for executives, along with freezing bonuses and 401k match to help spread out the financial impact across the company. While not all employees agreed with this approach, the overwhelming majority not only supported this but felt this was the only way to stay true to our value of stewardship. Regarding the timing of the sell of the company, this was something that was in the works for month and months prior to the closure date of mid-March 2020. The proceeds from the sale of the organization to its individual shareholders is not related with the day to day operations of the business or the implications from a global pandemic. While we are sad to see you go, we completely understand the new opportunity you are taking and with you the absolute best.

Pros

Pro I wish!! They ask for so much work that you will be exhausted in 3 months by doing 60hr billable work. Travels on weekends with preparation of workshops for client while you are in the air. All day you would spend with the client on-site and late in night you would be working for other client. Sometime you will get a call from anywhere in world to help your colleagues in assessment or pre sale call if you are expert in some domain (They don't care what time zone you are in). If you would say to them we did read about on Glassdoor review about extensive working hours they would say "That's why we have unlimited PTO!!" Guess what it's a big scam of making you happy to join them so they can drain your brain. When you would ask for PTO they would say we have that project coming and due to lack of resource we can not give you PTO more then a week. After 3, 4, 6 months you'll start realizing and your work life balance is gone soon you'll be hopeless and family less. All these crook care is expansion of Simplus, so they can make a good deal with Accenture like before with Cloud Sherpas. They have all developer in Philippines just like a sweatshop of Simplus to make your Salesforce Experience more Simple (Yah Simple!!).

We are sorry to hear you had a difficult time here at Simplus. Our company values are critical thinking, stewardship, and the underdog spirit. For our consultants working on client projects, we set reasonable billable hour goals for our consulting teams, but in consulting, we understand the workload does get intense at times. Any employee who is struggling with work-life balance is encouraged to speak with their manager and project leader about their situation.

Pros

I really enjoyed working with some of the people there, they were like a second family to me.

Cons

I felt that I was always under pressure to deliver low quality work product. I also witnessed management tell (what were in my opinion) lies to / about employees.
