Pros

Chill hours, great manager, freedom on how when to work, lots of downtime and opportunities to learn things.

Cons

Not the most interesting work, clients can be difficult, project managers don't always seem to have a good handle on what it takes to complete projects.

Pros

Good co workers and a nice office.

Cons

Poor upper management decisions, all upper management are yes people to whatever corporate wants. Plus, corporate does not follow American labor laws and upper management doesn't care. You'll work all holidays and long hours and weekends.

Most importantly, thank you for your direct feedback; it doesn’t feel good to work on a company Holiday. Post-acquisition integration can be complicated, it’s hard to get everything right the first time. Not an excuse, but an explanation. Because we are now part of a multi-national company, there have been a couple of deadlines driven by international requirements that have resulted in a few employees who typically work 9-5, M-F being asked to work on a holiday celebrated in the United States; the company extended the missed holiday as additional PTO for those employees who were asked to work. Due to the nature of our business and the critical services we provide, we have 24/7 operations, but employees who are part of these groups have regular schedules. If you are regularly being asked to work on days off or well beyond 40 hours in a week, please reach out to your HR Business Partner. We value the separation between work and personal time and would like to help resolve the situation.
