Pros

Good experience, engaging environment, lots of new skills to learn, and pretty easy job make being a master control operator tolerable.

Cons

Lots of false promises and low pay make working the long shifts terrible. Expected to bend over backwards for little or no recognition.

Pros

Company feels stable. They are continuously growing. Steady 8:30am-5:30pm, M-F. Decent benefits. Fun perks like occasionally lunch will be bought for the employees. Excellent Christmas party. Pretty good insurance options. Standard 6 holidays a year. 2 weeks vacation when starting.

Cons

Pay could be higher or 401k match could be higher. The SASO (Sinclair Advertising Support Operations) department (formerly known as a traffic dept) is tough and mentally taxing work. Long, sitting hours.
