Pros

Some of the people were decent...until they weren't.

Cons

All of this is 100% true, my WPGH experience in a nutshell: 1. I spent over eight years being preached to by my coworker, a self-described "good Christian woman." Daily I got fed "the word of the Lord" because I am not a believer and because my coworker didn't want me to burn in Hell (I could've turned her over to HR but I never did because she seemed harmless); 2. One year an unpaid intern told the boss I had threatened to kill the entire staff. Seriously. The boss called me to his office and said, "Did you threaten to kill the whole staff?" I was like, "Sorry....what?" The boss was...distressed. I was beyond insulted because there was zero truth to the claim and because it had come from someone who didn't even work for WPGH. Someone who doesn't even work here makes a bogus claim about me and I am now being interrogated like there's some truth to her made-up claims? The boss finally tells me I am free to go. See, he knew the claim was bogus, he just needed to make me dance. Why? Because he needed to hear it from my own mouth. I am 100% not guilty and he knows that but he needed to hear it from me. I was made to grovel to win his approval. The unpaid intern had made the false claim but...."dance for me, buddy!" 3. We have someone on the staff, a promiscuous gay man in his 50's, who has this weird kink--he likes to have sex with teenage boys and then he likes to talk about it--at work! For whatever reason, he chooses me to be his sounding board. Almost daily I get to hear his sex stories which almost always involve teenage boys..."because they keep themselves in shape," I am told. The gay man likes six-pack abs. He tells me his nasty stories. He includes sound effects. He shows me pictures! I am beyond uncomfortable. How he is talking this way at work is beyond me. How can he think that this is okay? You can't talk like this at work!' 4. I ask him to stop with the stories. He chooses not to stop. My workplace becomes TOXIC. To say I was uncomfortable is quite the understatement; 5. I ask his supervisor to intervene. Her response? "Oh, he's telling you his stories? That means he likes you! He only tells those stories to people he likes." She KNOWS he is doing this! She KNOWS he is bringing his filth into the workplace. She tells me that she has heard the stories herself but she has somehow never done a thing to shut him down and now she's not shutting him down even though I am pleading with her to make him stop; 6. Lastly, my "good Christian" coworker? She turns out to be a lying snake. In June of 2023, the boss called me, told me to come down to his office. "Your coworker says you threatened her with a gun!" I laughed, thinking he was kidding. He was not kidding. Turns out my "good Christian" coworker had indeed made the claim. I couldn't believe it. I mean, that had never happened. Fun fact--I don't even own a gun! But she had said the words and so.... I quit. Seemed like I was doomed so I just quit to preserve my reputation. And I won't work with people who lie about me so.... Garbage people. WPGH is filled with some garbage people. I'm embarrassed that I worked with them for as long as I did.
