Where do I start? MemSQL has been on my radar since version one. 4 years later, I joined their team and it was one of the best (if not THE best) decision I have ever made. For starters, I'm working with the brightest team I have ever worked with (hands down) and the whole enterprise DB space is incredibly fascinating. This creates a tremendous growth and learning curve (do your homework) if you decide to take full advantage of the opportunity to be on the team. While challenging and very much a startup, we have an exceptional leadership team (zero politics) who do a great job at keeping the communication lines open and working in parallel with the employees. At the end of the day, being on the MemSQL team gives me the sense of purpose in my work which extends beyond just the product or mission. It's the ability to have impact, grow and learn next to my colleagues, absolutely disrupt the DB market, and help this company elevate to it's next level of success.

I've been able to continue my professional growth through promotions and by taking on more responsibility while helping to grow the team. The company is mostly made up of young, hungry professionals who know how to work hard, but also maintain a relaxed collaborative atmosphere.
