Pros

Compensation appropriate for some roles. There are some really great people that work at SiriusXM.

Cons

No innovation and lack of clear path forward. Cars no longer need satellite connectivity with the evolution of the cellular networks and 5G+. OEM's can save a lot of money per vehicle by simply allowing customers to download the SiriusXM app in the head unit; as this is currently available for EV customers with Tesla and others. OEMs forcing SiriusXM to optimize the app for in-car would allow them to remove all the engineering, design, HMI, testing, and integration costs per vehicle, not to mention the hardware, wiring, antenna, etc. that goes into every vehicle. Younger generations do not subscribe and probably never will.
