      Pros

      Only one reason to work here: the environment. Laid back, flexible, you can be yourself, and those who know how to work the system can get away with murder. One of the top places to work for those who can't live without music.

      Cons

      If you start at the bottom, you will never, I repeat NEVER, get a decent or fair salary here. A substantial promotion (even moving up a level and to a higher paid department), will result in a miniscule increase in salary, leaving you with more challenging/rewarding work but no real way to make more money in the future. Also, the upper management runs the business very poorly.

      Pros

      Great place to learn different areas of the business, to be part of a start up (and now the only satellite radio company). Cool people to work with. And nice perks.

      Cons

      You end up taking on alot of responsibilities, but dont get paid that well. Promotions seem to be not evenly based (you're never sure what you have to do to get promoted).

      Pros

      Salary salary salary. Negotiate a big salary and do not expect much else. Occasionally, a musical icon will come into the studio and perform. You do have the ability to wear many different hats and take on as many additional projects as you can handle.

      Cons

      No marketing strategy. Brand marketing is amateurish. The Director level is overworked and the VP+ levels are incompetent which may work at large institutions making a profit but for Sirius it is a death sentence. You will not be mentored nor encouraged to mentor others.
