Pros

Excellent opportunity for beginner sales professional. Great environment and people that work there are wonderful.

Cons

No room for growth for experienced sales professional. For young sales professionals you will quickly get burned out from micro-managing and low commission pay. Management is young and inexperienced so they manage by ego versus example. Most people work here to gain experience and then quickly move on to another company. Turn over us tremendous. You won't find any loyalty here from management.

Pros

Very little, it is a good place if you are fresh off the college otherwise I wouldn't spend my time here. The only pros are: the multicultural environment, central location and "Four Thirsty" (at Friday you finish your working day at 4:30, get free drinks, relax and socialize with other colleagues).

Cons

1) Only some departments are allowed to join the Four Thirsty (not Service Desk) and honestly I feel sad drinking and having fun while watching other people still working till 6:00 PM on Friday. 2) The company has 10 years experience but they say they are a startup just because their Galway office is new while some people in there have been working for the same company for years. They use this to justify many things. 3) They say they are open to suggestions to improve themselves (because they are a startup...) but when you actually start talking they don't really listen to your point of view and this is so disappointing, they could just shut up at first instead of asking you, they should know they are not dealing with children. I have seen many people being very passionate about their role at the beginning and then losing their enthusiasm for this. 4) They promise a lot but don't deliver, it's just their strategy and this is the reason why many people after 6 months have left the company, after realizing their promises will never become true. It's just another call centre, they just want to look smarter than others. It is a very good place for a person with no job experience, not for somebody with experience who has been carefully selected and recruited.

Our environment in Galway is a professional call centre and it is important that new starters to the company understand that they will be supporting our customers online and on the phone. Unfortunately, this does mean that some members of staff may be required to remain on the phone to support our clients and ensure great service whilst others can enjoy Friday drinks. Generally these duties are rotated where possible to ensure a fair balance between staff. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your time with us more and hope your new choice of role proves better suited to you.
