      Pros

      I have worked for SiteMinder for more than a year in the Sydney HQ and I have really enjoyed it. My manager and all of the other leaders I have contact with are really reasonable and there is a culture of helpfulness and support. The two founders work out on the floor with everyone else and they are very approachable and friendly. Teams seem to work well together to achieve. The office environment has a great social atmosphere with Friday night drinks and other regular events. The office itself is in great location in downtown Sydney with views of the harbour. Interview process - The interview process took a while but was pretty straightforward with a phone screen and then a couple of in person interviews. The interview questions were honest and not tricky! :)

      Cons

      The office is fairly crowded and could do with a refresh. There are not enough bathrooms, showers and changerooms for the employees, who are all fairly active. Also the Sydney office is actually split over three separate offices. They are close to each other but would be great to be in one large office together. This is all, I suspect, due to the rapid growth of the company and hopefully will change in the near future.

      Pros

      there's a lot of positives here. Friendly co-workers, talented people. As a start up its ever-changing which is a really nice change from regular corporate jobs. you have to work hard but its worth it. I think some of the negative reviews are just lazy people who want everything handed to them. Work for it, and this company will repay you in spades.

      Cons

      some people slip through the cracks and aren't what'd you expect, but that's normal no matter where you go.

      Pros

      You get to drink beer and wine on Friday. They have good benefits. That's all they really have going for themselves. After 3 months you'll finally open your eyes of all the negative.

      Cons

      Politics atmosphere. It's very sexist as well. I am very observant and what I see on a daily basis is negative. T&I works hard with no recognition, accounting works harder with no recognition, support never gets recognized nor gets to do outside "fun" team building activities, the sales development representative gets their calls screened the entire time pretty much. Sales executives have said to new team members, " you can't joke around like that. You need to earn that privilege." (That should make a person feel welcomed after three months, right?) A lot of sales executive have gotten fired after being placed on 30day performance plan and these 30 days only last 1 week maybe 2 if you're lucky.
