Pros

They pay is decent.

Cons

You’re encouraged to have people pay for things they don’t need. You’re Commission is penalized for reason beyond your control. Customers are often upset and un happy. You are yelled at for things that are completely out of your control. Management has a tendency to be unorganized and it’s hard to get a clear understanding of what’s going on. There is not much of a work/life balance. Hours are weird as some branches are open 24/7. It’s not uncommon for staff to work 6-8 day in a row.

Hi there, thank you for leaving a review. It is unfortunate you had this perception of SIXT while working here. We would have advised you to speak with your HR Business partner. We also have monthly 4th Friday events for Headquarters as well as branches to partake in in order to build up teams and enjoy each other's company.

Pros

401K & reasonably priced health insurance 7 paid holidays & increasing number of Paid Time Off days the longer you stay with the company Fun and comfortable environment w/ no discrimination towards anyone Plenty of room to grow within the company if you are interested in a different field/promotion (this is my 4th position within 4 years) Challenging in ways that help personal growth Flexible scheduling to work around school/life needs Your team becomes your family away from home Genuinely the best, most caring company for which I've ever worked. In general, employees are seen as people, not just numbers

Cons

A lot of patience is necessary when waiting to be promoted (could take up to/over a year after expressing interest) Monetary compensation could use improvement Working holidays might be mandatory depending on your field/position

Hi there, thank you for your detailed review! We are thrilled to hear you are enjoying our revamped benefits program with the 401k, reasonably priced health insurance, paid holidays, ample PTO, as well as the overall SIXT culture with equal opportunity for anyone. We also focus on the growth within the company to expand your career and really make the most out of a job. Wow congrats on your 4 promotions in 4 years! Very impressive! SIXT consistently seeks to challenge employees to improve both personally and professionally. In terms of flexibility, we also are accommodating to school schedules. SIXT also encourages the idea of 'SIXT family' where the people working with you are not just your coworkers. We are so appreciative of this awesome review as we can truly tell how much you enjoy working here at SIXT. Patience may be necessary for certain promotions; however, we do encourage internal employees to continually express interest and apply to these roles as they become available. While we are flexible, we also require flexibility on our employee's end for certain jobs. Please reach out to management on your suggestions on how to make SIXT an every better place to work! We wish you continued success here at SIXT!
