Pros

Can get put in a very good team who make the job less miserable. Pay and benefits were good. HR would have your back.

Cons

-No direction at all. I’d have days were I wasn’t given a task or they’d have me do something so minuscule just so I’d have something to do. -Transferred me three times in less than a year because projects were near the end. -Worked 60+ hours a week with a 2 hour commute and would get yelled at if I left after hour 9 of my day. Even when I’d finish all my work. I’d get home eat dinner and go to sleep. -Upper management seemed to have no idea what they were doing and put the blame on the inexperienced kids to protect themselves. -if your not part of the inner circle your kept out of the loop and looked down upon. -preach about safety everyday but is never enforced and ignored with incidents not being reported to protect company guys reputations. -upper management would call out new to the business employees and embarrass/humiliate them. -constant CEO and executive changes made future of company unclear. -brown nosing was encouraged for promotion. -teams never seemed prepared or fully aware of what’s happening in the field. - project engineers/managers only cared about their specific trade they were responsible for and would try to our perform everyone else often screwing up others work and having to reinstall their own work.
