Pros

Worldwide Recognition Good Experience with some jobs Good Coworkers

Cons

Skanska has been impacted by a downturn in the Economic Environment of the United Kingdom, such as pausing of Euston Station, Cancellation of HS2 Phase 2, Pause of Lower Thames Crossing, loss of bids for tenders. As such Skanska is tightening the belt. Enabling functions (HR,IT, ETC), have been impacted and has resulted in job losses. Skanska is a company with a steady cash reserve but will still a need to reduce headcount. Since 2018, Skanska has undergone several reorganizations (Redundancies) . Skanska are known to change Terms and Conditions (Travel Allowances, Bonus Schemes) without notifying the employees these changes are occurring. Employees find out when changing roles. Pay isn’t industry standard
