Pros

Most importantly, I’m part of a great team - talented, empathetic, supportive, and positive people that create a great environment – even while working remotely. From my experience the company really cares about their employees, and I’ve seen the leadership go out of their way to support people here especially in challenging situations. They make you feel valued, and they also respect the fact that you have a life outside of work. I feel like I’m compensated well and there is a fair opportunity for professional development here as also.

Cons

Like in every company that is growing at a fast pace, it can be difficult to constantly provide complete transparency when it comes to the direction of the company and the short & long term strategy. In the past Canary has sometimes struggled with keeping us adequately informed, but this has significantly improved over the past 2 years and overall the internal communication has improved significantly.
