      A good company that entry-level applicants should avoid like the plague

      Pros

      The company and product are good. Get in - but not as an SDR. If you're entry-level, SDR elsewhere and try to join the company as an AE. You'll be thankful you did.

      Cons

      SDR management is garbage. No true leadership, lackluster mentorship, tons of micromanaging. Do not apply here as an SDR if you have any other better options available to you. Going through some growing pains as an org as well

      All the negatives of the Amazon culture with few positives

      Pros

      Co-workers were a mixed bag - some who were genuinely interested in working collaboratively and delivering value for our customers. Others who were abrasive personalities or played games.

      Cons

      The company doubled in size since the IPO and a change in top level leadership (CTO on down) brought all the negatives of the Amazon culture (abrasiveness, negativity, pressure, unrealistic expectations, unhealthy internal competition, insensitive management, criticism over constructive feedback, no work/life balance). Lots of people cashing out after options matured. Read the gory details on teamblind.com. The eng leadership attitude is that you should always be hiring (since they expect plenty of turnover).

      Pros

      Some of the most optimistic people I’ve ever had the chance to work with. Everyone works hard and cares about each other’s outcomes. Bad attitudes stick out like a sore thumb. Interesting work.

      Cons

      Gotta be ready for change in a company like this. But usually it’s a step forward.
