Pros

Good people to work with , working for a SaaS company that the majority of customer generally like your product was nice.

Cons

Leadership seemed to have lost sight of what made the company so great to work for when I first started. Over hired and didnt seem to take when the desired outcome wasn’t achieved.. Just sold to PE as an exit stage left strategy.

Great Pay Good Product Plenty of well-meaning people

Cons

"Always on" expectation of some leaders has led to overworked employees, exploitation, and, in some cases, burned-out staff. Culture sometimes feels forced and hollow. Employees are made to feel it is a privilege to work for Smartsheet, rather than being made to feel valued by the company.

Pros

There are plenty of good people here. I've also learned quite a bit in my time here and there are some really smart people to learn from. If you like working remotely then this is the place for you. Benefits are also good (but could be better).

Cons

There are also plenty of not good people here. For a work collaboration software company, there are definite weaknesses when it comes to collaborating internally here. It is a bit of a gaslight factory. People use excuses for why they don't respond or communicate. Lots of incompetent people in leadership levels that should either not be in their current roles or have been sent packing long ago. Product UI (which is improving) is still 20 years behind in alot of areas (such as the premium apps). It's also clear a good chunk of product and engineering have no idea how customers use the product when issues come up and product changes are pushed through.
