Pros

Its nice to have benefits at a reasonable rate as many other places do not offer any. The DM in my location is a great leader who is always there to help you if you have any questions.

Cons

While there are few down sides here about the only ones I have encountered were bonuses taking a long time to come in, and I feel the pay for AM and GM are a little low once you break it down hourly. With regards to Bonuses the system we use InMoment the only way you get a score is by getting strongly agree where as agree or anything else is a zero percent.

Pros

The staff was, for the most part, wonderful and such a joy to work with

Cons

-Management was just god awful: ---Never ever make comments on religion, even if you think you know the beliefs of your employees. This is not only tacky, but RUDE. If you want to make objective comments, this is touchy, but most likely okay. But to trash someone's religion in front of several employees and customers...unacceptable. ---Treat your staff as though they actually know what they're doing (because they do!!). If a staff member looks like they have everything under control, and is able to keep up with the increase in customers, stand back! Let the staff member do their job. Do not step in and take over their job just because you want to be in control of everything. ---NO TIPS. This is just terrible. If you are going to pay your staff $8.05 and then step all over them, at least have tips. ---Corporate trainers were very unprofessional and spent most of the time on their phones (the exact thing they kept telling new staff not to do...hmmm.....) ---Overstaffed all of the time: there was just too many people working, and there was absolutely no need for it. When it got busy, yes, we needed a few extra hands. But the other 5 hours of standing around in a dead restaurant were dreadful. ---Speaking of standing around, management of course did not like to see staff twiddling their thumbs with nothing to do, but seemed to not understand that with 6 people on FOH, everything was completed very quickly, and so little needed to be done. To constantly tell staff to find something to do when nothing could be done was nothing short of aggravating. I had to push a broom around for hours, just pretending that I was doing something.
